Welcome to Skillasy (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online courses, digital products, memberships, tools, communities, and any related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By visiting, accessing, purchasing, enrolling, or using any part of the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, students, subscribers, purchasers, and account holders.

1. Eligibility

To use Skillasy, you confirm that you are:

  • At least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction

  • Capable of entering a legally binding contract

  • Using the Platform solely for lawful and permitted purposes

If you are accessing Skillasy on behalf of a business or organization, you certify that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

We reserve the right to refuse access, suspend accounts, or deny services to anyone at our discretion.

2. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features, including paid courses and dashboards, you may need to register an account.

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information

  • Update your account details as needed

  • Keep your login credentials confidential

  • Accept full responsibility for all activity under your account

You must notify us immediately at support@skillasy.co.uk if you suspect unauthorized access or a security breach.

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account.

We may terminate or suspend accounts that:

  • Contain false or misleading information

  • Are used in violation of these Terms

  • Pose security or fraud concerns

3. Course Access & Usage Rights

When you purchase or enroll in a course, subscription, or program, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access the content solely for personal or internal business learning.

You agree that you may not:

  • Share login access with others

  • Copy, download, or distribute course materials outside permitted use

  • Upload content publicly or to third-party platforms

  • Sell, sublicense, rent, or commercially redistribute content

  • Use course materials to create competing products or training

Course access may be:

  • Time-limited based on the plan purchased

  • Subject to subscription renewal

  • Revoked if Terms are violated

We reserve the right to modify, update, or remove course content at any time without obligation to you.

4. Payments, Pricing & Subscriptions

All pricing is displayed in USD unless otherwise specified.

By making a purchase, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges

  • Use a valid, authorized payment method

  • Accept that failed or expired payments may lead to suspended access

4.1 Subscription Renewals

Certain plans may automatically renew. By enrolling in such plans, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

You may cancel future renewals through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation does not grant refunds for prior charges unless required by law.

4.2 Refund Policy

Refunds, if available, will be defined on the course purchase page or refund policy page. If no refund policy is stated, all sales are considered final.

Chargebacks filed without contacting support first may result in:

  • Account suspension

  • Loss of course access

  • Collection procedures

4.3 Third-Party Payment Processors

Payments may be handled by third-party services (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We are not responsible for errors, failures, data breaches, or disputes involving those providers.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform—including videos, PDFs, designs, assessments, worksheets, branding, trademarks, logos, software, tools, and written materials—is owned by Skillasy or licensed to us.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership or intellectual property rights to you.

You agree not to:

  • Modify, copy, reproduce, or create derivative works

  • Remove copyright notices

  • Use our trademarks without written consent

Any unauthorized use may result in legal action.

6. User-Generated Content

Some features may allow you to submit reviews, comments, assignments, messages, or uploads (“User Content”).

You agree that:

  • You own or have rights to the content you submit

  • Your content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, or legal rights

  • Your content is not harmful, defamatory, or unlawful

By submitting User Content, you grant Skillasy a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, and use the content for operational or marketing purposes.

We may remove User Content at any time for any reason.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate laws or regulations

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the Platform

  • Use automated bots or scraping tools

  • Misrepresent your identity

  • Harass instructors, staff, or other users

  • Reverse engineer or access source code

We reserve the right to report violations to authorities where required.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links, integrations, or resources from third parties. These are provided for convenience only.

We do not:

  • Control third-party websites

  • Endorse their content

  • Guarantee availability, accuracy, or safety

You access third-party services at your own risk.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”

  • We make no guarantees regarding learning outcomes, income, employment, promotions, or certifications

  • We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free features, or future content availability

We are not responsible for decisions you make based on course materials.

Skillasy is an educational platform—not a university, employer, or professional certification body. Third parties may or may not recognize Skillasy training, and we make no warranties regarding acceptance.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skillasy shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of profits, data, revenue, business, or opportunities

  • Service interruptions or technical failures

  • Third-party errors, outages, or platform changes

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the most recent course or subscription.

Some jurisdictions may not allow limitations; in such cases, the smallest legal limitation shall apply.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skillasy, its founders, employees, partners, and instructors from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or fees arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement of third-party rights

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access:

  • If you violate any Terms

  • For payment failures or chargebacks

  • To comply with legal requirements

  • At our discretion

Upon termination:

  • All licenses and access rights end

  • You are not entitled to refunds

  • You must cease use of Platform materials

You may request voluntary account closure by emailing support.

13. Privacy & Data

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and protect your data.

By using Skillasy, you consent to that processing.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to the Platform.

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Skillasy is registered.

Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings shall be resolved exclusively in local courts of that jurisdiction.

You waive the right to class actions unless prohibited by law.
